As a Medicare Benefits Consultant at Mediplan Shop, you will play a vital role in helping Medicare beneficiaries make important decisions regarding their Medicare Insurance Coverage. Through phone consultations, you will listen, advise, and guide clients in selecting the most suitable health insurance options. Partnering with leading national and regional health insurance companies, you will ensure that customers receive the appropriate coverage for their unique needs.

Required:

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Health resident insurance license or a 215 and 240 license.
• 3 week Medicare training course for licensed agents.(classes start soon)
• 5 week Training program for non-licensed sales agents
• Strong integrity and customer focus
• Comfortable with desktop computers, including proficiency in Office applications and web browsing

Qualifications for the On-the-Job Training (OJT) Program:

• U.S. Citizen or Non Citizen Authorized to Work in the U.S.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• If your unemployed
• If you receive government assistance. Ie: Cash assistance, snap, Mfip, Tanf.
• Must be able to meet eligibility requirements at a local career center

Preferred:

• Previous sales or contact center experience, with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales goals and performance metrics
• Familiarity with CMS Rules and Regulations and/or other state or federal healthcare programs is a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
